The Kennels

Here at Low Shires Boarding Kennels your dog's wellbeing is my main concern. As a dog owner to a Show Cocker Spaniel and a Labrador, I aim to treat your pet as I do my own, and I love my dogs! When staying on the farm, your dogs become a member of my family and quite often find themselves with my dogs in tow if they want a playmate!

Many of my clients like the fact that my business is small and I don't have any staff; this means that all dogs get personal attention and are handled only by me.

We have been described by our local Environmental Health Officer as "one of the cleanest, best presented kennels in the area, that never smells 'doggie' ". The sleeping part of each kennel is very spacious and well exceeds the regulatory size as specified by DEFRA. All the dogs have a choice to access their (part covered) outside individual runs, accessed by a small door, therefore giving them regular fresh air.

My guests are taken out of their kennels 4 times a day. They start the day with a short comfort break outside, then enjoy 3 full walks throughout the day at no extra cost.

I am happy to send videos & updates via email or WhatsApp about your dog while they are staying with us, so you have peace of mind while you are away from your dogs.

When we were looking for a small, friendly boarding kennel for our Fox Red Labrador Sam, we were   recommended to Low Shires and we were so glad to have found it. It's always hard to leave Sam when we go away, but Jackie makes it all so easy. The kennels are very clean, well run and organised, very reassuring.

Sam loves his holidays at Low Shires.

Thank you Jackie x
